Text Box: Congratulations to George G. and Stacy Lund for winning first and second place in the Photo Contest!

Congratulations to George G. for being the first place winner in the photo contest with his beautiful Half Black, and also congratulations to Stacy for being the second place winner with her beautiful Koi.

This truly was a tough decision for me with some of the fish that were entered in this photo contest.  I had so many beautiful Angelfish to choose from.  I judged the fish by their overall look, color, finnage, body shape, and how they display themselves.

I chose the Half Black for first place because to me this fish truly represents the elegance that an Angelfish should display.  This Angelfish is so very elegant looking.  The fish displays him/herself very well and the fins on this fish are incredible.  As most beautiful Half Blacks, this fish has that “golden” look to it and is showing full expression of the Half Black trait.  To me, this is a very beautiful Angelfish.

Text Box: Gold Marble Blushing (Koi)— Owned by Stacy

I chose Stacy’s Koi for second place because to me this Koi really has WOW factor.  The darker brilliant orange on the fish’s crown is beautiful.  This fish also shows attitude that I believe strong healthy Angelfish should show.  The way this fish displays itself really says a lot for the fish.  Very healthy and vibrant Angelfish is what I love to see, and this one really shows that.  The finnage on this fish is also perfect.  The comb tail with the long straight anal and dorsal fin makes this fish look stunning.

I am sorry that I could only pick 2 winners because there are so many that I would’ve liked to choose.  It really was a tough decision.

If you didn’t win this photo contest, keep sending in your photos for the future contests.  Thank you all for your participation in this photo contest.
